東京大学農学部卒。アクセンチュアを経てちとせ研究所の経営を皮切りに、日本と東南アジアに合計11社のバイオベンチャーを設立。1000年後の人類から見た21世紀初頭の人類が何をしておくべきかという視点で、バイオベンチャー企業群 “ちとせグループ” 全体の経営の舵を取りつつも、自分が作った会社たちに人生を振り回されている。「生物の進化」と「経営」と「サッカー」のことを考えるのが趣味。3つとも「自身のメリットを最大化しようとする個々が集団となって組織を作り、組織同士は激しい生存競争をしている」という構造にあるため、要はそういう構造が好きなんだなと20代半ばで気付いたことが今のキャリアに繋がったと推測。
　
The Representative of Chitose Group
Tomohiro graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, The University of Tokyo. After working for Accenture Japan Ltd., he has been running various companies in the biotechnology industry , starting with the management of Neo-Morgan Laboratory Corporation (presently known as Chitose Laboratory Corporation). His hobby is thinking about the "evolution of life", "management" and "soccer". He realized in his mid 20s that all these three have a common structure where individuals are trying to maximize their own merits form organizations as well as the organizations are fighting vigorous living competitions. And he also realised that he basically likes such a structure. He believes that noticing this fact brought about his present career.
